Bringing Auckland Together

The Carnival aims to attract more tourists and international carnival fans each year to attend and participate. Carnivals around the world attract tourists and develop many local employment opportunities as well as providing high quality entertainment. The Carnival is tentatively looking to align with other major international events in Auckland such as the Rugby World Cup in 2011.
Giving Back Foundation Trust and Auckland International Carnival
The Giving Back Foundation Trust is a non-profit charitable trust recognized by the Charities Commission and committed to promoting overall family well being, helping youth at risk, creating social enterprises to inspire communities to be self sufficient and create wealth.
The Carnival is a platform for the Giving Back Foundation Trust to reach out to communities and families by raising awareness and promoting positive attitude, encouraging individual talent and providing networking for struggling families and youth with difficulties to reach their full potential and to become self sufficient.
Auckland International Carnival is the first of many creative solutions being planned by the Giving Back Foundation Trust for raising funds to achieve our goals to lessen the burden of poverty and hardship facing families and youth which contributes to a negative snowball effect on our communities.
The Giving Back Foundation Trust aims to develop Auckland International Carnival as an annual event to help generate funds to support the objectives and principles. All funds raised above and beyond operating costs will go towards the initiatives of the Foundation.
